Hi Guys. Things have been very quiet around here lately and yesterday when i logged in it told me i was the only member who had done so for atleast 24hrs, so i'd like some feedback from you. What would you like from Blue Butterflies? Do you find the news articles i've been posting relevant? Is there anything else you would like to see here or any suggestions you would like to make? I am quite happy to look up the latest news, find articles and post new threads as well as put time and spoons into BB's, but to be honest there really isn't much point if no one else is posting. I realise that sometimes people don't have the spoons to post, but without activity BB's won't survive. Hope everyone is having a "good" day

I love having Blue Butterflies here, but sometimes, especially when it's quiet or I'm low on spoons, I don't have much to post. I read most of the research stuff you've been posting so thanks for that! Some of the articles were even Canadian and I would have never seen them otherwise. Maybe I could throw out an invite on my Blog (which I've also been lax on lately) incase there's any M.E. sufferers who are looking for a nice little friendly forum. I think it's a bit of a vicious cycle with so few of us. When no one posts, no one posts.

I'm glad you've been getting something out of the articles There's been quite a few Canadian ones lately and no Australian ones. I jealous! You guys seem to have more awareness & people doing things over there

I think that we're in a bit of a slump right now, but that was normal even a few years ago. Don't worry! Things will pick up again! I've been gone myself here for nearly a week due to work kicking my butt - doesn't mean that I don't want to be involved or post, it just means that I'm busy right now and will post later.

I'm sorry I've been absent so much of the time. I miss you guys, and I SO WANT to get caught up on all the articles & what's been going on with everybody. There's just been SO much going on! Went to my eldest granddaughter's 1st concert- - she plays the flute. (And keyboard, and piccalo, and she's wanting to learn trumpet.) Then my uncle died, and that was a big ordeal. My husband and brother were asked to be pallbearers. Then they were unasked. Seems my aunt & cousins were worried that they might not have a suit. And they didn't want to PUT US OUT. Translation, they thought we couldn't afford one. So it turned into the biggest ordeal you can imagine, and the more we tried to deal with it, the worse it got. At one point, I had decided we just wouldn't go. My mother kept insisting that we go, & finally I told her, " If we do go, Charles and I will be wearing rags and flip flops, and I will march up to the whole gaggle of them and announce 'I'm SO SORRY this was all that we had to wear! Hope we're not EMBARRASSING you! And just so very much else, including our Memorial Day Weekend holiday on the houseboat with daughter & her whole family. Blue Butterflies is among the handful of absolute most important things in my life. I will try to be more available and here and contributing. I promise.
