I remember we were talking about it before & wondering if it'd be as good as the books etc. I watched it on dvd today. Well, unsurprisingly the book is much better. The movie leaves out half of the story & changes the rest of it. It's still worth watching, but the book is definitely better.

Ah I was wondering if they would leave some out of it. That always upsets me when they do that especially because I reckon it's as much apart of the story as every other part. They did that with Lord of The Rings and I was going on about that for days (even though we don't want LOTR to be any longer).
Actually I saw the preview where they showed the insignia or marking on his hand and in the book it said it was shiny and hard but on the preview it showed that it was like it was burnt in. Did I see correctly?
What was the ending like? Did it look like they'll continue on with the story?

Yep, you saw correctly.
I think they will continue with the story. The ending does allow for them to continue on later.
I find the way they portrayed Aria a bit disappointing. In the book she is strong minded, independent etc but in the movie she's not like that. Anyway i won't say too much incase you're planning on watching it. If you do, let me know what you think of it...

I watched it and I honestly have no idea why they bothered. They left out most of the story! And I reckon most of the important parts too. Plus I liked the werecat I think all the characters were weak especially Arya. I don't think it portrayed her as not independant and strong willed I just think there wasn't enough effort put into it so she wasn't very dominating like she was in the book. The best acting out of all of them was John Malkovich (never mind that he is my favourite actor ) and even his character was crap. And Durza wasn't even an intimidating character like he should have been. It was weak. Oh so weak. The whole movie was crap! It was just lifeless It was good though because it gave me a reason to use mr pokey

Yeh i was disappointed with how they portrayed most of the characters & how they left out characters & half the story. The book is definitely better (but aren't they always? lol)

lol yeah they are. I'll link you up to the review I did about it. I think it's one of the best ones I've done in awhile even if I do say so myself Linkage
